August 2020 : During my travels through Brittany, I visited Locronan, a small village that feels like a step back in time. Nestled on a hill, Locronan is known for its beautifully preserved medieval architecture. The cobbled streets are lined with granite houses, some of which date back to the 15th century, giving the town a distinctive, old-world charm. Walking through its narrow lanes, I felt like I had entered a village where time stands still. The town square Place de l'Eglise, is particularly striking with its grand stone church, Saint-Ronan, at its heart, surrounded by quaint artisan shops.

Locronan is often listed among the most beautiful villages in France, and it's easy to see why. Its peaceful, atmospheric streets have a timeless quality that has made it a popular spot for filmmakers and artists alike. The town is small enough to explore on foot, and every corner seems to offer something new—a hidden courtyard, an art gallery, or a view of the lush countryside beyond.
